Recess does not provide prepaid shipping labels. Buyers and Sellers are responsible for independently arranging and negotiating shipping terms, including costs, carrier choice, packaging, and delivery timelines. Recess does not facilitate or manage shipping in any way.
Title to the Item transfers to the Buyer upon shipment.
Buyers are responsible for all shipping fees, unless otherwise negotiated directly with the Seller.
Sellers are fully responsible for the contents of any shipment and must comply with the Recess Terms of Service, including the Prohibited Items Policy, and all applicable carrier requirements. Sellers must ensure that items are safely and adequately packaged to withstand transit.
Sellers must ship the Item(s) to the Buyer within seven (7) days from the date the order was purchased, unless otherwise agreed between Buyer and Seller. If the order is not shipped within 7 days or does not arrive within 30 days, a Buyer can file a dispute and Recess will side with the Buyer.
Recess is not responsible for delays, lost items, or additional costs resulting from inaccurate address information.
Since Recess does not issue or manage shipping labels, Buyers and Sellers must communicate directly to determine the shipping method, carrier, and expected transit time.
Recess is not liable for damages, delays, or lost shipments caused by carriers or improper packaging by the Seller. Any disputes related to shipping must be resolved directly between the Buyer and Seller.
Buyers must inspect their items promptly upon delivery. Any issues—such as undisclosed damage, missing items, or incorrect items—must be reported through Recess within 30 days of purchase to qualify for review under the Recess Protect program. After thirty (30) days, the order is considered complete, and payment will be released to the Seller.
It is the Seller's responsibility to ensure that the selected shipping carrier can accommodate the size and weight of the package. Any additional costs for oversized or overweight shipments are solely the responsibility of the Buyer and Seller.
Users must comply with all applicable shipping laws and carrier policies, including restrictions on hazardous, perishable, or otherwise prohibited materials.
