How have all of you found part-time babysitters? Where have you posted job openings?

Or on Recess! We've used local colleges (Barnard) but also through other families word of mouth recommendations. Are there other families in the neighborhood that you could ask?

Everything has been word of mouth for us! I’ve got a good part time sitter who is in BK if you want her info.

We’re in jersey so it may be a bit tough for someone to commute from BK.. So with local colleges I can’t post directly on their site but was informed to use 3rd party sites like Quadjobs only I havent been getting much traffic. Is there another way you’ve posted at colleges?
