Baby constantly sick since starting daycare
Our baby started daycare 4 weeks ago and has gotten sick 3 times: once with Flu A, then a random virus, and now with Flu B. In all of January, she'll have made it to daycare only 9 days in total 😭.
Is there any way to prevent her from getting sick so often? (She's up to date on all the vaccines she's old enough to get.)
She's obviously miserable being sick all the time, and my wife and I are so so so so tired.
Would love any advice and/or commiseration 🙏

Yeah this is horrible. Our toddler was sick for the first 3 months of his twos program which started in September. He got everyone in the house sick including our six month old baby. I was sick non-stop. TBH there’s really nothing you can do other than the obvious stuff like washing hands, getting sleep, eating healthy. I’ve found that my kids recover faster than I do. I guess that’s what happens when you get old 🫠

Have you tried a nebulizer for runny congestion? Our baby can’t blow her nose yet so this helps loosen things up. I even use it now! We’ve got this one:

Just here for solidarity. Last January our kiddo had a new fever every four or five days (she was 6mos). Her first month of daycare (the following the summer) was a lot like your baby’s sounds, and she was out sick by like the second week. I’d tell myself she’d be better off for the immunity later on, and this winter she actually has fared better than I have. 🤧 Crossing my fingers for you all!

How old is your child that’s in daycare ? If 12 months or above. Make an immunity booster that consist of ( tangerines (8), lime (3), garlic (5), turmeric (1 tbspn) ginger (3). Juice or blend then strain if blending. Also, make mucus flush with only ginger and lemon. Take a syringe 5ml everyday. Watch the transformation. Also, take your baby outside when the weather is cold (I’m not sure where you’re located ) to get the air release and immunity use to exposure. SUNLIGHT, SUNLIGHT, SUNLIGHT.
