Baby falling asleep while eating
Our one month old (!!!!) loves to fall asleep while eating (she's exclusively formula feeding). Sometimes she'll eat a bit, take a 10-15 minute nap, then eat again - and sometimes repeats this over an hour. If we let her stop eating, she inevitably wakes up sooner and is very hungry very quickly. We've tried a lot of the reccs you can find on Google for keeping a baby awake, but I want to hear what worked for y'all!

If I know - or think I know - that my baby is still hungry and he’s not eating for whatever reason I will put him down in the crib and do something else for a few minutes. Inevitably he starts to cry, at which point I return to the crib, pick him up and miraculously he’s super hungry and very interested in the bottle again 🤷‍♂️ not sure this works with other babies but it works for ours.

I think this is pretty common at this age. We used to wiggle the bottle nipple around our kids’ mouths when they started to nod off and it would usually get them to start sucking again. You can also try tickling their cheek. We were also guided to feed our kids without their clothes on so they weren’t so warm and cozy. Clearly we were desperate for some sleep ourselves 😂
