Preistrician Recs in Denver
Hi everyone! I’m expecting my first baby in March and I’m looking for pediatrician recommendations. I’d love to hear any suggestions. I fully support vaccinations for my baby so I’m looking for a provider that aligns with that - no holistic approaches plz. Thanks for your help!

Congratulations! And yay, another Denver person! We have Kaiser, so we see Dr. Sorenna Kierkegaard at KP’s Skyline clinic. Came highly recommended, we absolutely love her, and have been pleased we the other staff at that clinic, too. Have also heard great things about Highlands Integrative listed above, including among the nurses we saw for prenatal (who were very supportive of vaccinations, too).

I absolutely love park pediatrics on 136 in Thornton. There’s also a pediatric dentist next door called foothills pediatric dentistry that we love too. We’ve scheduled back to back appointments. My husband jokingly refers to it as a double header!

Ha! Don’t worry about the typo. I spelled pediatrician wrong in the title 😞 this recs are soooo soo so helpful! I really appreciate you both. At my old job I had Kaiser and I really miss it. Will definitely check out Highlands! Thanks for the tips both.

We actually found it quite hard to find a provider that required vaccinations, surprisingly. Some of them claimed they do on their websites, but then when we discussed during interviews they disclosed that actually 15% (!!) of their patients are unvaccinated. Both Colorado Kids and Partners in Pediatrics were highly recommended to us, but we ended up going with Dr. Staerz at Pediatrics at Cherry Creek. She is independent vs. a large practice which has pros and cons, but she spent so much time with us and we loved all the answers to her questions both on medical considerations and general parenting style.

@Andrea CThanks so much! That’s crazy how high the unvaccinated rates have gotten. I grew up in California and I’m used to people being out the but yikes. I don’t want my kid getting polio!
