Car seat for 15 month old (for people who don’t own a car)
Hi all - what is a practical and safe car seats for a 15 month old, that will last us for quite some time, but is great for people who don’t own a car and probably just need this for a couple of Ubers a month and travel to/from airports or on the plane. We had the Nuna Pippa but Mira is now over the weight limit for it. Have heard recommendations including costco (so many models?!) Graco (also so many models? Nuna rava (seems expensive for people who don’t have a car?) Wayb pico (seems to practical and lightweight but only recommended for 2+, so nervous re safety) Would love to hear if you’ve done this research or what you have! Thank you 🙏🏽

Hey Nisha! We also had a Nuna Pippa which our toddler grew out of. Our 8 month old now uses it. For our toddler we have the Cosco Scenera NEXT. We also don’t have a car and very rarely use it, so for us, the most important feature (besides safety) was portability and ease of installation because nobody likes frantically trying to install a car seat in an Uber as traffic backs up behind you. We took the Scenara to London and it was light enough to travel with (although still a pain because traveling with any car seat is miserable).

Amazing, thanks Ethan. We ended up landing on the Cosco Scenara as well for all these reasons.
