Norovirus
Pretty sure my eldest has it. I desperately want to avoid infecting my LO. Any tips on how to prevent the spread? Or are we all doomed?

Ugh I'm so sorry you're dealing with this. How is everyone feeling?
We all ended up with it including our little one in December. I think the best you can do is try and keep them separated as much as possible the first 18hrs. Lots of hand washing and keeping distance. Hopefully that does it but if not then just know it's a really quick virus. Best of luck to you all

Noro is the worst! It’s spread through vomit / #2 and the surfaces those touch. It’s not inevitable you’ll all go down - especially if you keep every surface super clean!

This afflicted our house last weekend and it was absolutely terrible. My toddler was the first to get sick and he proceeded to vomit every fifteen minutes for 7 hours. It took him a few days to recover. I got it 24 hours later. The good news is that the rest of the family didn’t get it including my wife and baby. Hydrogen peroxide is the way to go for disinfecting since that’s the thing that kills the virus. We kept our toddler and baby separated as much as possible. Really feel for you on this one and hope you are doing okay!

Thanks! So far the virus hasn’t jumped to anyone else. So much hydrogen peroxide and hand washing. Knock on wood!
