Hello and any pelvic floor specialist recs?
Hello and happy to have this group. I was in both a WhatsApp group and also a few Denver Facebook groups and they seem to be overrun and not that helpful. Hopefully this is better.
I was wondering if any of you know of a good pelvic floor specialist near Berkeley? Also wondering if y'all have gone to see one at this stage in pregnancy? Any guidance would be appreciated.

Following! FWIW I’ve been told by a million friends to do this but I’ve been sooo busy that I haven’t gotten around to it. I’m terrified of getting a big tear but I keep procrastinating.

Wow that was fast. Thank you for the rec. And yeah that's what I'm trying to get ahead of ,[object Object],.
I have read and heard from a few friends that it's best to get going on this pre baby and the continue post partum.
Assuming they take insurance and do I need a referral from my ob@Andrea C?

They do not accept insurance but do provide a superbill for every visit so you can submit out of network costs. They don't require a referral, but ask for your OB consenting to an internal exam just to make sure everybody's on the same page for your care (they'll provide you a form which was super quick for my OB)
