Baby proofing and/or playpens
Looking for examples of how everyone baby proofed specific rooms! We live in a small apartment, so it's tough to fully baby proof any one room, but we also want to let our 13mo play/wander without us right next to her. I'm considering one of those large wooden playpen things (baby jail? 😂) Because it seems like I can set up a baby proof play area that would take up most of our living room but at least be safe for her to play alone. Thoughts?

I have that second playpen in one of my rooms. It’s much cheaper than the wooden one, and actually @ 15 months, shes getting more aware + I feel more confident about the baby proofing of this space, so I’ve opened up the little door so she can come and go. It’s nice bc I can still zip her up in there if I need to leave the room to get something downstairs, but if I’m in the room with her, I’ll usually just leave it open so she has more wander space. I put her toys in there so they’re out of the way as well.
