Baby proofing
We've got an army crawler! What's the best way to set up the nursery so she can explore safely but still practical for us to store baby things?

I basically just moved things around as he got into them. I have magnet locks on all his drawers, everything is attached to the wall, and basically anything that isn’t a toy is high up lol

The PaperPlane recs here are good. You want to make sure she can’t grab anything that will fall on her. Also cords / anything she can get wrapped up around her neck in. Also remember that soon(ish) she will be pulling up to stand so if you buy any new things just remember that you’ll have to figure that part out soon anyway. (That’s usually like 10ish months)

My perspective has changed on this since we had our second. We did all the things with our first: soft edge on sharp corners, nothing that they could choke on, baby gates on stairs, magnetic locks on cupboards, etc. this time around our toddler has his toys everywhere and lots of the magnetic stoppers have fallen off because our toddler (or me) yanked on them too hard. So let’s just say we are a bit more laissez faire. That being send when he’s out and about I watch him like a hawk to make sure he doesn’t get into trouble. But everything is a bit more accessible than it was for our first and so far knock on wood he’s doing just fine!
