How much should baby eat as solids are introduced?
Our 10mo old has been having slightly fewer oz of formula as we ramp up on the amount of solids she has. She had seemed to settle around 25-30oz/day. For the past few weeks she's had 2-3 solid meals & 1 snack per day in addition to the formula. I def expected formula intake to go down as we increased solids, but today she only had 19oz of formula total, which feels like a really big drop? She didn't particularly eat a ton more solids today. I'm worried bc I reaaaaaaaaally don't want her to go back to needing to eat overnight. How many oz of formula should we be targeting, if anything specific? How should we think about the balance between formula and solids, esp as we get closer to the 1 year mark?

This is a good question for the pediatrician!

Charlie dropped oz by 10 months by quite a lot. We were on breast milk but my pediatrician wasn’t worried as long as he got like 16oz a day (he was usually getting 24 until he dropped at 10-11 months) I’d ask your ped for more specific numbers but my guess is they won’t be concerned! Also this is almost the age when they weirdly survive on air somedays LOL I’m always worried Charlie will wake up on days he barely eats but he never does.
