How many times a week do you end up serving things like pasta, grilled cheese, or quesadillas to your toddler?
I’ve got a 3 year old who’s gotten a little picky with food lately. I can pretty much always count on her to eat pasta, grilled cheese, or quesadillas, so I find myself rotating those a lot for lunch and dinner. I try to mix it up a little, like using chickpea pasta or sneaking veggies into the quesadillas, and sometimes I’ll do crockpot chicken or a ground beef meal once or twice a week, but those don’t always go over well.
Lately I’ve been feeling a little guilty about how often I rely on the same three meals. She’s sick right now and I had planned to make taco bowls, but I know she probably won’t touch them, so I just made her another grilled cheese. I guess I’m just wondering if other parents are in the same boat and if it’s normal to fall back on the usual favorites so often. Food is really important to me and I want my duaghter to enjoy but I can't help but doing the path of least resistance.

Today my toddler had a bagel with melted cheddar cheese on it for breakfast. For lunch he had left over Mac and cheese. He went to a birthday party where he had cheese pizza. And then we had pizza for lunch. So basically he ate melted cheese for every meal. We try hard not to do this, but it definitely happens. So don’t beat yourself up!

Just to be clear this is melted cheese :)
I love the idea of hiding zucchini and chia seeds in muffins. But why does it have to take so much work!?
