Dog ate poopy diaper
I’m kinda freaking out and need some advice. We have two small dogs and they’re both super licky and always right up in our kids space (they’re 1.5 and 3.5, the kids not the dogs) I made the mistake of leaving a dirty diaper on the floor before we left the house and when we came back it was shredded and the poop was gone, so I’m pretty sure they ate it. I’m worried about the dogs and if this could make them sick. but honestly I’m even more worried about my kids getting sick if the dogs lick them now. At dinner time they’re always licking my kids hands. The diaper was on the rug where my kids usually play, so now I feel like I don’t even know if it’s safe anymore. How do I clean or sterilize a rug after something like this? And how can I clean their mouth to make sure they aren’t passing any horrible bacteria to my kids?
