The snoo
Wondering if anyone has had the Snoo. What was your experience? Is it worth it to get it? I also got the halo as a gift. Is the snoo better than the Halo?

Our doula was super anti the snoo and steered us accordingly. Her logic, in short, was "Don't train your baby to be dependent on something which you know will go away" (vibration won't carry to crib). Ours turned out to be a great sleeper in the halo, but no causation there

Loved our snoo. Used it starting day 1 that we got home and stopped between 6-7months. Our little slept through the night for 10hr nights starting at 3 months because of it. Every baby is different but for us it really worked. Got ours used on FB marketplace for $400

Great question! We had the Snoo for 2 of our 3 children. We were really blown away by the technology and how it really can help calm down. However, sometimes our babies just want some human touch (or they pooped and needed to get changed and nothing was going to calm the except a dry diaper). It was really good for those early months but by month 3 and into 4 we knew we needed to transition them out. We ended up renting the Snoo because of its short shelf life. Overall, we were really happy with it and so were our babies! Hope this helped and best of luck ā¤ļø

Loved our snoo! We also used it from day 1 and retired it maybe around 5mo? Our daughter (14mo) still has periods of night wakings so we never had straight overnight sleep regardless of snoo or crib lol 🄲 I do think the snoo bought us an extra hour or two in the early days.

We started with Snoo with our third baby and absolutely agreed that if it had stopped working prior to our fourth being born that we would replace it. Our third slept in the snoo until 7.5 months (6 adjusted) and had no problems transitioning to the crib.
