Potty training??
When did y’all start potty training? I’ve been noticing consistency with when my 16 mo old goes to the bathroom so I’ve been considering trying some EC but maybe it’s not worth the effort lol

We started at around 26 months. Our son was definitely ready and it was still hard. My totally uninformed opinion is that there are probably a bunch of other indicators in addition to consistency that you should be looking out for. Like, can they communicate to you that they need to go to the bathroom? Are they able to follow directions? Are they receptive to rewards and positive feedback? But maybe most importantly, are you really ready? It’s a lot of work and even if it’s going well there’s a lot of two steps forward, 1 step back. So you should be super prepared to stick with it if you decide to start early because starting and then not committing could be disruptive. From what I’ve read kids can learn very early and the diaper industry has done all sorts of “innovations” to keep kids in diapers longer. So it probably comes down to if you’re ready! Good luck!!!!
